Google Bard maintains its growth trend by integrating more and more services, functions and innovations that make it one of the most competitive Artificial Intelligence platforms on the market, almost on par with ChatGPT but with some distinctive elements.
Since last quarter, the people at the company behind the most popular email client on the planet and the most popular search engine globally, had already been announcing their intention to evolve their AI.
At that time, according to the road map drawn up by Google’s own friends, it aimed at complete integration with all the company’s existing services, so all our activities would be more efficient, in theory.
Now we know a series of specific new features that have been released for Google Bard and they turn out to be relatively interesting. At least to test its efficiency, although in advance we know that not everything will be perfect.
Google Bard integrates some improvements to its model: know what’s new and give them a chance
According to a report by colleagues from 9to5google Google has improved the Large Language Model (LLM) behind its Google Bard Artificial Intelligence, thereby achieving some perceptible improvements.
The main attraction among all the improvements is the ability to response in real time. An option that the user must activate in the configuration interface of its instructions window.
By turning on this mode we will see a substantial change in Bard’s behavior, since responses will be generated almost instantly, with no waiting time.
In other systems, such as Bing Chat or ChatGPT It is necessary to wait a few seconds while the content is generated and we see how it is articulated in real time until we finish with the generated paragraphs.
Now, with Google Bard that is a thing of the past, since the answers end up being articulated instantly, with the distinctive model of analysis and separation of elements or arguments that already distinguishes this AI.
But not everything is perfect, since the phenomenon of platform hallucinations is still present. Therefore, sometimes a substantial part of the responses generated do not have 100% true information.
When that happens, it is recommended to use the new “Skip response” option, which would help improve the execution of the algorithm when generating the texts.
Google Bard has a long way to go for improvement.
