Kyoto-based Chuhai Labs and distributor Thunderful Games have announced Cursed to Golf, a roguelike that seems quite interesting and that only because of its proposal and artistic section has captured our attention.
It is actually a golf game in which players will tour 18 dungeons that will lead us to purgatory, where our protagonist has been trapped after suffering a strange accident that has left him on the verge of winning an international tournament. The inhabitants of the afterlife love to practice this sport, so we will have to challenge them to return to life.
All scenarios will have a pixel-art touch that we will have to overcome with the help of three different golf clubs and a ball that it will be necessary to hit to get it into the holes. Of course, we will also have to overcome all kinds of traps in the form of fans, skewers, boxes of dynamite and much more that will complicate our task.
At least we can buy upgrades that will grant special powers our character and thus avoid exceeding the limit of strokes allowed or else it will be time to start the tour again. In case you want to sign up its launch on the calendar, it is expected that Cursed to Golf arrives in 2022 for Nintendo Switch and PC.
