God of war ragnarok is a reality and it seems that another epic adventure awaits us with the legendary Kratos and Atreus. However, it seems like it could also be the last time we see them in the realms of Norse mythology.
Talking During Interviews After PlayStation Show, Eric Williams, director of the sequel, was questioned about the possibility that Ragnarok, the cataclysmic battle that signals the end of the world, will happen within the game. This is what he replied:
“You cannot name it God of War Ragnarok and not have Ragnarok within it.”
His next answer is even more interesting:
“It will happen. We will put an end to Norse mythology with it. “
So it looks like this will be the second and last Nordic game in the saga of God of war. We know many of you were anticipating a trilogy, but Sony Santa Monica has decided to end this story after Ragnarok.
On the other hand, it has been confirmed that this time we will be able to visit the nine kingdoms of the game. On God of War (2018), three of them were blocked: Vanaheim, Svartalfheim, and Asgard, but this time they will be accessible and will be fully explorable in Ragnarok. There are not many details about these locations, but everything indicates that it will be a fairly extensive game.
“Exploring the realms will take you to all kinds of places, from otherworldly jungles to underground networks of mines. This next installment in the series will take you to locations more diverse, beautiful, and mysterious than any other God of War game. “
Are you excited for the new God of war? Leave us your answer in the comments.
