The movements made by Jim Glickenhaus leave a slightly different bet for the two SCG 007 LMH of the team heading into Le Mans. On the one hand, at # 709, experience prevails. In fact, Ryan Briscoe has competed six times in La Sarthe -one in LMP2 and five in GTE-, while Richard Westbrook has accumulated ten participations in the queen of the WEC, all of them at the controls of a GT vehicle. For its part, Romain Dumas accumulates a score of presences at Le Mans in which he has achieved two overall victories and one victory in the LMGTE-Pro class.
For its part, # 708 lineup has less experience at Le MansEven if two of the three drivers are not exactly rookies at the French event. In fact, Pipo Derani has five participations in Le Mans, while Olivier Pla has competed in up to thirteen editions of the French round. By contrast, Franck Mailleux has been to Le Mans five times, a figure that would not be out of tune with his teammates if it weren’t for the fact that all these participations were prior to 2014. Now, more than a decade after his last participation in an LMP1, Mailleux will be riding the Glickenhaus LMH.
