Children will benefit from courses, workshops and seminars for Mexican children who excel in their school performance.
The Mexican Space Agency (AEM) has just signed an agreement with the Talent Care Center (CEDAT) so that Mexican children who excel in their school performance receive courses, workshops and seminars on science and technology.
Javier Mendieta Jiménez, director-general of the AEM, declared in a statement that? The existence and problems of these children in Mexico, beings of exceptional talent, is a little-known issue, but they are discriminated against by society and even by their family, for What objectives to the stature of their talents require, and precisely the space offers great and stimulating intellectual challenges, what do they need?
Many of these children, having greater intellectual capacity, are victims of discrimination and bullying. In several cases, they are labeled with ADHD or as bad students. However, what they need is a guide that will boost their intellectual and creative qualities.
Thanks to the AEM and CEDAT agreement, it seeks to strengthen the learning of gifted children with extracurricular activities, in addition to participating in academic competitions, conferences, congresses and student exchanges.
