Ubisoft has communicated its decision to put the point and end to the content from Ghost Recon Breakpoint. In a statement that has posted via Twitter has indicated that over the last two years a total of 11 updates have been distributed that have been including news of all kinds, but that will not happen again.
The last four months have seen the release of the latest content, including a new game mode, items related to the 20th anniversary of the franchise, cosmetic items and much more. However, not everything ends up lasting forever and therefore this latest installment in the saga will not be expanded further.
What Ubisoft wanted to make clear is that the servers of Ghost Recon Breakpointas well as those from Ghost Recon Wildlands, will remain active for all those who want to continue playing with your friends in online cooperative multiplayer, which is undoubtedly one of the strongest points of these games.
The statement ended with a thank you to all those who have offered their support throughout all these years. This has also served the company to collect ideas and suggestions that the team will take into account for the future of the series.
The truth is that it has not been bad at all if we take into account that Ghost Recon Breakpoint was released in October 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC and was not as well received compared to Wildlandsso time will tell what awaits the franchise.
