The company Medicines and National Medicinessubsidiary of the company Genome Labobtained the sanitary license from the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (Cofepris) to manufacture over-the-counter medical products.
In a statement, Genomma Lab expressed: “As a result, the phase of the application for the license to operate the OTC (over-the-counter medicine) plant has been concluded. All manufacturing lines can now manufacture a wide range of pharmaceuticals.”

The Commission granted the sanitary license to the new pharmaceutical plant in 2019. Two years later the company received the certificate of good manufacturing practices for solid and semi-solid medicines.
