At the beginning of the year it was revealed that Xbox Game Pass it had exceeded 18 million users. Since then, the company has not updated this number. Although it is speculated that the amount already exceeds 30 million, Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, has not decided to clarify these rumors. This is something that we have seen in the past, and it was repeated in a recent interview with this manager.
In a recent chat with The Wall Street Journal, Spencer was questioned about the alleged 30 million Game Pass users. Recall that Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, missed this figure a long time ago. At the time, the head of Xbox pointed out that the official amount is 18 million. Now, a similar answer was offered during his recent interview. This was what he commented:
“We have to stick to our last public figure, which is 18 million subscribers. We will announce another issue at some point, but right now we are focused on addressing the high demand from both creators and players. “

At the moment there is no official statement providing an update regarding this number, but Spencer has mentioned that this information will be provided at a later date. With Xbox’s 20th anniversary celebration planned for next month, we are likely to finally see an exact number.
In related topics, these are the games that will arrive on Xbox Game Pass in the coming days. In the same way, here we tell you about the titles that will leave the service at the end of the month.
Editor’s Note:
The fact that Game Pass has grown in popularity and in number of users in recent months is undeniable. Similarly, Xbox has never been a company that shares this type of information in such an open way, since quarterly reports are usually expected to provide something about it. At the end of the day, the company continues to support this service with great games on a consistent basis, and that’s what matters.
