Good news has arrived for the followers of Pokemonespecially for all those who play Pokémon Sword & ShieldAs they will be enjoying a new distribution event over the next few weeks, as Game Freak itself announced, it has continued to support Sword and Shield on a routine basis since both games launched in 2019.
And even though that support is likely to come to an end soon, Game Freak is now looking to give Sword & Shield players some free Pokemon in the coming weeks, as starting August 12, Game Freak will allow players to unlock Sword & Shield gear. Ash from the animated series pokemon journeys.
This Pokémon lineup includes dragonite, Dracovish, Lucario, Gengar, sirfetch’d and of course, Pikachuso these six Pokémon will be available to download on a rotating basis in Pokémon Sword and Shield starting this week and continuing into next month, where Pikachu in particular will appear in-game as “World Cap Pikachu” and will be available for download starting August 11 through a unique distribution event of its own.
Now, as for the other five Pokémon mentioned, we share the dates on which they will be available to obtain in Pokémon Sword & Shield:
- Drakovish – August 12
- Dragonite – August 26
- Gengar – September 2
- Sirfetch’d – September 9
- Lucario – September 16
So if you’re looking to get these Pokemon for yourself, and don’t know how to go about it, Game Freak will be distributing unique codes that players can redeem to get all of these Pokemon mentioned within Sword & Shield, this event as a whole is just being planned. for those in Japan, however, the codes that will be provided should work across all versions of the games, so if you’re in other territories outside of Japan, you should still be able to participate.
