While The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power continues to air an episode every Friday, the premieres in Prime Video they do not stop. Catherine Called Birdy – October 7
In this adventure drama set in the 13th century, the action centers on the young Lady Catherine, played by Bella Ramsey (The Last of Us, Game of Thrones). It is a teenager from a run-down noble family and whose father sees an opportunity to recover financially by marrying her off to some rich suitor. The intrepid and adventurous Birdy, as many know her, will invent more and more elaborate ways to avoid her commitments.
Saying Goodbye to Yang – October 8
Colin Farrell stars in this film of futuristic science fiction in which a man and his daughter try to save by all means possible a robot half assistant, half nanny whom they consider an essential member of their family. The film by South Korean director Kogonada was at Cannes in 2021 and now it can finally be seen on platforms thanks to Prime Video.
