Like every year, the French Cinema Tour will hit theaters in Mexico with its 26th edition this 2022 to delight film fans with the best of contemporary cinema from the European country. The traditional cycle allows Mexicans the opportunity to explore other forms of narrative with stories of different genres and with a very attractive compilation of diverse casts.
The itinerant exhibition founded by Nueva Era Films, Cinépolis and the French Embassy in Mexico will be made up in this edition of 7 films that will be screened in 73 cities of the Mexican Republic. Next, we tell you all the details:

haute couture
Esther is at the end of her career as head seamstress in the workshop of the Maison Dior. One day, a 20-year-old woman, Jade, steals her bag on the subway. She the latter, overwhelmed by her remorse, decides to return what she stole. Instead of calling the police, Esther decides to take care of Jade, seeing in her the opportunity to pass on her skills in the sewing trade. In the frenetic world of Haute Couture, Esther will give Jade the opportunity to go beyond herself.

Chronicle of a passing relationship
Chronicle of a passing relationship It is a movie designed to intelligently entertain. The film tells the story of a single mother and a married man who become lovers. The world according to Pierre
Pierre is a forty-year-old man who has always lived far from the clutter of the world. When his parents disappear, his whole universe changes: he discovers that he was adopted and must learn to survive in a modern society he never knew. Determined to unravel the mystery of his origins, he meets Anna who, moved by this man’s kindness, agrees to help him. With her he will cross a whole gallery of characters as funny as they are cute. However, as he further investigates him, Pierre discolors as if by magic.

Kompromat: the Russian dossier
Based on true events, the film tells the story of the spectacular escape of a French diplomat. Victim of a plot orchestrated by the Russian secret services (FSB), Mathieu, who is director of the French Alliance of Irkutsk, Siberia, is arrested, imprisoned and isolated. He has no one to turn to. He realizes that he is the victim of a Kompromat: a file constructed without bases that seeks to incriminate him. Proving his innocence is impossible. The only solution is to escape.

the kitchen brigade

Exhibition circuit and tickets
The appointment will start from next October 6 in Mexico City and, little by little, it will reach other states of the Mexican Republic. In addition to being shown in the 25 Cinépolis Art Rooms across the country, the 2022 French Film Tour is scheduled in more than 173 Cinépolis complexes.
At Cinépolis you can buy a Cinebono for 4 tickets in a traditional room or two in VIP rooms for $180 pesos. Tickets will be available from Monday, September 26.
On the other hand, the French Cinema Tour will also reach moviegoers through the Cultural Circuit in 30 cinemas in 19 cities in the country.
