A mechanism based on the jokes of “Home Alone” (My Poor Little Angel) has been developed by a former NASA engineer named Mark Rober, famous for his videos on his YouTube channel. In fact to test a part of this method that sprays a stench on thieves, he has invited the very Macaulay Culkin.
Recent reports speak of an increase in thefts from porches and cars in the city of San Francisco, California, in the United States.
The information that comes from various North American media is that even with video cameras installed in cars or on the porches of houses, the authorities supposedly do nothing against the thief, even when he is identified by security cameras.
For some time, the same former NASA engineer had developed these mechanisms aimed at thieves of packages left on the porches. The thieves go after the electronic devices that the citizens buy.
So, Mark Rober designed a kind of decoy in which he presents a box of some electronic product, but inside it has a device that, in addition to having cameras installed to see the thief, sprays antisocials with glitter.
They took it to a new level
Mark Rober has taken it to another level. In addition to continuing to present his same decoys on the porches, he now also installed them in the cars; robbery victims in the city of San Francisco. But the mechanisms no longer spray glitter, now they go with a stench that can be compared to farts.
It is a joke/punishment system for the thieves who subjugate the population of the North American town.
The thieves’ modus operandi can be seen in the video presented by Mark Rober. They pass several times by the parked car, they look inside to make sure that valuable electronic objects such as laptops, cell phones, tablets or VR glasses are inside the vehicle.
The lure used is a box with an electronic product, but inside it has this fabricated mechanism that sprays farts at criminals. Rober says that if the police do nothing, then his method is capable of punishing his friends. Enjoy the video courtesy of Urban Techno.
