The “CDMX integrated mobility” card works to travel on the STC Metro, metrobus, Cablebus, Trolleybus, Light Rail and even to store your bike in the bike parking of the country’s capital.
This plastic can be purchased at any box office of these services for the amount of 16 Mexican pesos. And its cost is so low and we are so forgetful that we surely have more than one in case emergencies arise or we have to use said transport unexpectedly.
One way to easily and quickly recharge your card to avoid long lines or crowds is through your cell phone. You know how to do it? Through the Mercado Pago app and the NFC of your phone. We show you the steps to follow.

The term NFC is derived from Near Fiel Communication, which translates into Spanish as near field communication. This is a wireless technology that works to migrate data from one device to another, in this case the plastic of the Metrobús.
In contrast, not all cell phones have this technology. In the case of iOS, it is implemented from the iPhone 6 onwards and with respect to Android, just google your device and find out if it has NFC.
If the phone has it, you must access the Mercado Pago app and look for the function to recharge your plastic. After, All you have to do is bring your card within a distance of no more than 10 centimeters to the device and enter the required balance.
This option promises to optimize charging times or even save you at stations that do not have cards, such as some of Line 4 (north and south).

To pay your ‘ticket’ with this plastic, there are two options. The first and easiest is to introduce the card to the new charging terminals and carry out the operation, since these are already enabled to recognize these products banking.
The second is to bring the card to an attached terminal that will be found in the turnstiles of the aforementioned stations, which work with contactless technology (so your plastic must have this feature too).
