Ford inaugurates a new subscription program with Fleetpool. Its star models, combustion and electric, are now available in this new strategy, available to its customers in Germany, although the Cologne firm is already thinking of crossing borders in a few months.
The subscription is a new program for car sales that is becoming a very interesting solution to always have a new car. In European countries, it is counting on more and more followerssince manufacturers are taking care to adapt to the needs and purchasing power of customers.
Brands such as Polestar and Lynk & Co are true queens in this new business model, also adding others better known as Volkswagen, attacking a public that moves in an age range of up to 50 years. The last to do so has been the Blue Oval, which has chosen Fleetpool as a partner in this new journey. For now, it has been launched in Germany, but it will cross borders in the medium term, with its star models, the Ford Fiesta, Cougar, focus, kuga and the Mustang Mach Ealso including commercials in the future.
Ford subscription offers multiple possibilities
The Ford Subscription includes all costs related to taxes, insurance, maintenance and seasonal tire changes, so customers are only responsible for fuel or electricity, oil maintenance and AdBlue in the case of diesel versions. The only downside is that customers they cannot choose equipment extras, as the units arrive with a configuration factory specific although with the most demanded equipment.
The advantageous conditions in the Ford subscription models contemplate different contracts, with 10,000 kilometers per year, and up to 30,000 kilometers, and prices that range between 299 Euros per month for the Fiesta and 399 Euros for the Kuga. Only the exclusive Mustang Mach-E breaks out of this tight bracket, reaching the 829 Euros although it is a standard monthly cost for all versions of the electric SUV.
The German division of Ford, which has guaranteed the delivery of the units within a maximum period of six weeks, has also included an interesting addition to the monthly price: the damage report at the time of return of the vehicle at the end of the contract. And it is that there are not a few who have found themselves with the surprise of paying an extra for the possible damages found in the vehicle. When the time comes to terminate the subscription contract, the German brand will carry out a global inspection at the TÜV facilities -the German ITV- so that assess the state and if the client has to pay an extra or not. A plus of security for customers and the brand.
