Only 10 days left until the launch of Horizon: Forbidden West. The game was announced exclusively for PS5 but over time it was also announced for PS4. Originally, PS5 games that also came to PS4 could be upgraded for free to PS5 in the case of owning the PS4, but Sony put an end to this free by demanding € 10 for Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut updates , Gran Turismo 7 or God of War: Ragnarok. It should be remembered that PS5 games are more expensive than PS4, hence an additional payment is required if purchased on PS4. Nevertheless, with the sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn there is an exception.
Horizon: Forbidden West can be purchased for PS5 for €10 less if we buy the PS4 version. As is the case with the physical versions that we find in the store, in the PlayStation Store Horizon Forbidden West costs 79.99 euros for PS5 and 69.99 euros for PS4. Although nothing is mentioned in the PS4 game file about the free update, in the PS5 game we find the following message:
If you buy the digital version of Horizon Forbidden West™ for PS4™ from PlayStation™Store, you will get the digital version for PS5™ at no additional cost.
In this way, to buy Horizon: Forbidden West cheaper you have to buy ps4 versionwell gives access to both the PS4 and PS5 version of the game.
In its day, Sony has already mentioned the differences of Horizon: Forbidden West between PS4 and PS5. In fact, the game finished its development a few weeks ago and since then we have been offered more videos explaining its content. Thus, we have discovered news such as new skills, climbing and more content.
