It would be pretty scary…
Saitama has always been on the side of good in One-Punch Man, but Garou’s transformations show how the bald-headed hero could become the perfect villain. This article will contain some major spoilers for the last arc of the saga.if you want to read it on your own, we recommend doing it through [VIZ Media]https://www.viz.com/shonenjump/chapters/one-punch-man?locale=en), as you might be in for a surprise if you’re not up to date.
Garou’s origin began when he set his sights on one goal: to become the embodiment of fear and evil. He was nothing more than the above average villain that he sought to become stronger. It was just that Garo’s preferred method of training was through battles with his life in danger, and his efforts finally paid off. He grew stronger after each fight, and as he received various transformations, his power grew exponentially. He got to a point where he could defeat everyone he faced, including the strongest members of the Monster Association..
Even after everything he’s been through, Garo retained a fragment of his humanity. He only had a few phases of going insane, but he eventually came to his senses. He also met Tareo during his journey, and the young man became a reason for him to keep himself in check. He never went too far when it came to fighting humans, although his dream was to become the ultimate evil. The moment he forgot to consider Tareo after acquiring immense power, the result was devastating.. Saitama completely defeated him, but it was already too late for the young man. And, this is where we can speculate what might have happened to our hero.
Saitama’s story isn’t too different from Garou’s. He too started out as an average human being, but his path to unparalleled strength was through training, a very specific training routine, to be precise. Unlike this villain, power and strength came easily to Saitama. His power levels skyrocketed after constant effort until he could destroy anyone with a single blow. Just like Garou, Saitama also met all of his friends, more importantly, his disciple, Genos.before he reached his peak, and they were also the main reason he stayed grounded and human.
The only time Saitama issued killing intent was after witnessing Genos’ death.. He went to great lengths against Garou without regard for the safety of the planet. Although he was indifferent again after widening the power gap between him and the Hero Hunter, it was evidence that Saitama himself was not immune to losing himself, and was well represented by the fact that he had the core of Genos. even while dishing out planet destroying techniques. The moment he lets go may be the moment he also lets go of his humanity. Once that happens, Saitama may become the embodiment of apathy, not caring what happens or what havoc it may wreak on the world of One-Punch Man. Needless to say, that may also be the day that the the whole world will meet its fate
Saitama’s destiny in One-Punch man could be as a villain.
One-Punch Man has pitted Saitama against Garou on multiple occasions, and they have never failed to provide readers with quality entertainment. However, Garo and Saitama are more than just rivals. Garou is Saitama’s villainous and minor counterpart.and his experiences and transformations are good indicators of how the bald protagonist might stray from the right path.
Their long-running feud finally ended in Chapter 166, in which Saitama planted Garou’s face from outer space on Earth with a punch. This villain realized the insurmountable gap between them, succumbing to self-pity. He reflected on his failures and sulked that he couldn’t achieve his lifelong dream of becoming the ultimate evil.. While he believed that no one could empathize with him, he realized his short-sightedness as he realized that Saitama was still holding Genos’s core. However, if Saitama lost his humanity…there would have been another ending.
