A space that invites you to feel immersed and make dreams come true by living the Fixiona experience within its 1000 m2, 1600 m2 of walls and floors, and 5 m high, 40 high-tech laser projectors, along with surround sound.
First exhibition: From Monet to Kandinsky
The first proposal, From Monet to Kandinsky, A Creative Revolution, offers the viewer a passage through the main avant-garde artists. It is a journey from Monet’s impressionism to Kandinsky’s abstract, hand in hand with cutting-edge technology that generates an unprecedented relationship between art and visitors, and the use of AI Cube, an immersive tool that uses artificial intelligence to recreate paintings famous and place them in the unique landscape and culture of Chile.
The unprecedented space was conceived as an idea by Xavier Pacheco, Spaniard living in Chile for 34 years, with studies and experience in production and events linked to cinema, television, theater, contemporary circus and dance. After working 11 years at the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center (GAM)where he served as commercial producer, general producer and production manager, He decided to start his own path guided by the need and concern to develop a space that would cross technology and art with massive impact.
While searching for investors, he met Sorina Burlacu, owner of Events, a global platform that develops unique experiences for groups of people and/or companies, who was immediately interested in the project. A little later, Juan Ibañez, a Chilean producer with vast experience, joined in, who was in the same search of creating an immersive space with local development.
“The match was immediate, and we decided to join together to give life to this project that moved and motivated us”explains Xavier Pacheco.
More art
For this first year they already have an Immersive Art Series planned, made up of a collection of exhibitions that show the work of some of the most famous artists of all time.from the Middle Ages to the Golden Age of the art of painting. The first is called From Monet to Kandinsky, A Creative Revolution, which will open its doors on October 12. The following ones will be announced a little before their premiere.
To choose the next content they will be presenting at Fixiona, they are traveling around the world, an adventure led by Sorina Burlacu, who through Events has the positioning and contacts to dialogue with the main global producers. “Fixiona’s goal is to be dynamic in its offers and present Chileans with the most recent discoveries about digital art in the world,” says Sorina Burlacu.
The first experience in detail
The first immersive journey is From Monet to Kandinsky, A Creative Revolution, which offers the viewer a passage through the main avant-gardes of the art of painting. It is a journey from the impressionism of Monet to the abstraction of Kandinsky. The artists presented are: Claude Monet, Paul Gauguin, Edvard Munch, Paul Cézanne, Juan Gris, Robert Delaunay, Paul Klee and Wassily Kandinsky.
All exhibitions use cutting-edge technology to transport visitors to the world of paintings, allowing them to experience art in a completely new way; so visitors can walk through the paintings and explore each detail enlarged in high resolution thanks to technology. They also present a unique addition: the AI Cube, an immersive tool that uses artificial intelligence to recreate famous paintings and place them in the unique landscape and culture of Chile.
This allows visitors to imagine what the paintings would look like if they had been created by the great masters in Chile. For example, if the French Impressionists could have been inspired by the beauty of the Chilean mountains and Van Gogh’s Starry Night could have been transformed by the vibrant colors of Chilean sunsets.
The entrance fee ranges from $12,000 to $20,000 sale, and a value of $10,000 if you are a resident of Las Condes. More information at @fixiona6060 / fixiona.cl
