One of the best horror series of the last decade that few people talk about is ‘Evil’. In her first two seasons she has scared her fans with episodes of cases that have led her to lead the Paramount + platform and now the platform has announced the premiere date of the new chapters of its season 3which will premiere exclusively on Paramount + on Sunday, June 12, 2022, with a weekly episode since then.
The most unpredictable and fascinating horror series
The 30-second sneak peek gives fans more crazy dark-toned imagery showing a toilet clogged with blood in the style of ‘Psycho 2’, David’s deadly confrontations and terrifying sexual fantasies after last season’s tremendous finale. From the beginning, ‘Evil’ has been a series that went far beyond what could be shown on network television, but when it went from CBS to Paramount + its brilliant psychological horror has skyrocketed.
The summary of the plot of the new season is the following:
“EVIL Season 3 picks up moments after the Season 2 finale: David and newly hired Christine kiss. In Season 3, the two not only have to navigate this tense new reality, but also deal with David’s involvement with The Entity, a spy unit within the Catholic Church. Meanwhile, Ben finds his brain breaking from his unresolved issues and turns to his sister for help.”
‘Evil’ has been compared to the ‘X-Files’ of the modern era, and tries to explain the word evil down to its essence. The concept of a psychologist, a priest and a skeptic who solve paranormal problems together blends real-world and supernatural horror. She tackles horrors like addiction, abuse, racism, police brutality, and religious hypocrisy without mincing her tongue and always tackles all of these topics with a wry sense of humor.
