A look at DC’s 2022 releases, including Black Adam’s Justice Society, The Flash, Batman, and Aquaman 2.
In a fabulous clip, DC gave us a look at the four films that will be released in 2022, where we can finally see Black Adam’s Justice Society, as well as new footage of The Flash, The Batman and Aquaman 2.
DC premieres in live action for 2022
The Batman will hit theaters on March 4. The film stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone and Paul Dano as Riddler. It is set during the Dark Knight’s second year of fighting crime, as he searches for the serial killer known as the Riddler.
For its part, Black Adam, with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the title role, opens on July 29. Johnson is joined by Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Sarah Shahi as Adrianna Tomaz, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate.
The Flash is scheduled to premiere on November 4. Its cast is headed by Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/Flash, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, and Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as two versions of Bruce Wayne/Batman.
Finally, on December 16 we will have Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Starring Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Orm Marius, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as David Kane/Black Manta, and Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry.
