It looks like Electronic Arts and Konami will have competition with FIFA and eFootball. The successor to Pro Evolution is not what it was before, but FIFA 22 has arrived stronger than ever. Although all this now could change, since the guys from Strikerz surprised us all, when during the Gamescom 2021 Opening Night Live announced their new free to play soccer game called UFL.
UFL was shown through a brief trailer where we could see a football team in the changing room tunnel, some images focused on the players’ Nike boots and a stadium that everyone knows, the London Olympic Stadium, where West Ham United, a Premier team, plays League. Since the announcement we have all been waiting for new images, and a few days ago the game’s own account via Twitter has revealed the UFL’s first in-game image, showing one of the game’s ambassadors, Manchester City’s left-back, Oleksandr Zinchenko.
As you can see, the first in-game image of UFL has left us all fascinated. The face of the player Zinchenko looks incredible, to the point of graphically surpassing what was seen in FIFA 22. Now we all expect Strikerz to reveal new details such as licenses, teams, leagues, modes and much more.
New details revealed for UFL, the new free to play soccer game
To learn more about UFL in the future, the developer has opened a website to register. The details of this new soccer simulator are scarce, but little by little we will know more. We remind you that UFL is developed with Unreal Engine and will come to Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4 and PS5, being a free to play.
