This Tuesday, Instagram announced the launch of new features to its platform, with which it seeks to provide more tools to creators and users to tell their stories and connect with their audience.
From collaborative content in posts for Feed and Reels, until the experience of being able create Stories collectively and the long-awaited update that allows you to upload content from your computer, Instagram says that these tools will help users to exploit all their creativity and get much more out of the social network.
The launch of the new functions will be carried out throughout this, which has been called “Innovation week”, no way from October 19 to 21. The following are the news that you will see from today and in the next few days on Instagram:
Collabs
Available from Tuesday, October 19.
The Collabs function has the objective of allowing users – be they creators, companies or users in general – to be co-authors of publications, both in the Feed and in the Reels. With Collabs, it will be possible to invite another user to contribute to a post, where the content will be available to both groups of followers, and they will share the same amount of likes, views and comments.
How does it work? To create a collaborative publication, you just have to upload some content to the Feed or create a Reel. At the end of the publication process, select “Tag people” and with the option “Invite collaborator” Choose the user you want to be the co-author of the publication.
It is important to mention that It is only possible to collaborate with one user at a time and the invited account must accept the invitation. Once the other person agrees, they will be added in the post and in the content header.
Keep in mind that this feature is being tested with only some users, so not all accounts can be invited to participate at this time.

Superbeat + Dynamic / 3D Lyrics
Available from Thursday, October 21.
In the news that arrive for Reels, Instagram incorporates tools with more creative functions, to combine music and augmented reality effects in an easy and fun way.
With 2D and 3D letter effects, it will be possible to share and follow the lyrics of the song you choose, making the reels more interactive and attractive.
Superbeat combines music with augmented reality in a dynamic effect, which automatically applies visual edits to the beat of the song that the user has chosen; this way you will spend less time editing and have more time to create and share.
Content creation from the Desktop
Instagram had already been late and this is one of the most anticipated functions for years. Now, the platform will allow sharing photos and videos of less than 1 minute from the desktop version of Instagram, in the computer’s browser.
