Yesterday the leaker Dark Golem shared some pictures of a new Silent Hill in development, supposedly from 2020, and assured that it is not the only installment of the franchise that is currently being developed. These images were removed in a matter of hours due to a copyright claim, which could indicate that they are real.
As with all leaks, it’s best to remain skeptical until you have official confirmation, but Dusk Golem claims to have proof that the images are of a Silent Hill in development. However, the leaker also says that “this is not the only SH in development“, hence Konami I would be working on multiple deliveries.

The images that Dusk Golem shared would be from a 2020 version of the game, so what is shown could have changed since then. One of the images bears the signature of Masahiro Ito, the monster designer and art director of the original Silent Hill trilogy.
The images show us a couple of messy rooms, a hallway littered with small sheets of paper on the walls and a mysterious figure at the other end, and a portrait of a female character with pieces of her peeling skin with writing underneath, such as “I hate myself” (“I hate myself”) on the forehead.

It seems that it is not a Remake of a previous installment, but a new Silent Hill, but it is possible that Konami is working on other projects. A couple of months ago there was a rumor that Konami would be preparing a Silent Hill VR, but we will have to wait for an official announcement from them.
Next month starts theE3 season” (without E3), as there are several events scheduled for June in which we will see video game announcements from the most important publishers. Konami may decide to show off a new Silent Hill at one of these presentations.
