Childhood obesity, a serious problem
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), In 2016 alone, there were more than 340 million children and adolescents who were overweight or obese. While the trend continues to rise, especially due to the sedentary lifestyle that was generated from the pandemic.
With this scenario, the FIFA teamed up with WHO to launch the #BringTheMoves challenge. It is expected to have the collaboration of as many footballers as possible to encourage physical movement among the millions of viewers who will watch the matches on television and digital media.
“We know the negative impact that lack of exercise can have on children’s health. That is why we are going to use football as a platform to spread this message in an exciting and engaging way,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

In this way, the campaign #BringTheMoves has a simple objective to promote the child sport. All children are invited to celebrate each goal of the Soccer World Cup Qatar 2022 the way they want but always through physical activation.
