EA Games has released the trailer for FIFA 23, the last FIFA before it becomes EA Sports FC. This latest version includes women’s club teams for the first time.
Today, EA Games revealed EA SPORTS FIFA 23 and the evolution of HyperMotion2 technology, setting a new standard in realistic and immersive on-pitch gameplay. The title will feature women’s club teams for the first time with the inclusion of The Barclays Women’s Super League and Division 1 Arkema at launch, extending its position as the world’s most authentic football experience. Players will also be able to experience the pinnacle of international men’s and women’s soccer in FIFA 23 with The FIFA Soccer World Cup Qatar 2022 and The FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia/New Zealand 2023, as free post-launch updates. Cross-Play will also connect soccer fans like never before, and will be available across multiple game modes in FIFA 23.
Advances in FIFA 23’s HyperMotion2 technology and physics system have unlocked a host of new features making the experience feel more immersive than ever. Team and player movement on the pitch is more responsive, intelligent and authentic, whether competing against a defender or battling for a ball in the air against a striker while controlling the goalkeeper. Users can also look forward to a new smart dribbling system, a more natural and fluid transition to kicking, an entirely new acceleration mechanic, increased player awareness, and much more.
With the debut of the women’s club teams, all-new animations have been added to FIFA 23 informed by the movement of real-life female athletes.
EA SPORTS FIFA 23 features a variety of advancements and innovations in Career Mode, Pro Clubs, VOLTA FOOTBALL, FIFA 23 Ultimate Team and more. The new practice system, in the Training Center, will give new and less experienced players the ability to easily learn the fundamentals of the game and hone their technique before heading into a match.
FIFA 23 is developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania, and will be available worldwide on September 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One.
Early access for the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition starting on September 27, 2022.
