The hybrid engine of the new FIAT 500 Monotrim
Regarding the mechanical section there are no surprises. If we take a look under the hood of the new 500 Montrim we will find a 1.0-litre Firefly three-cylinder petrol engine. develops a power of 70 hp and 92 Nm of maximum torque. The main key of said block is that it is electrified with 12 volt mild hybrid technology (MHEV).
It is associated with a six-speed manual gearbox and a front-wheel drive system. Being a light hybrid car, it sports the ECO environmental label from the DGT (General Directorate of Traffic) with all the mobility advantages that this entails.
