Xcare Groupt will honor the memory of the dead in the 17th edition of the Festival of Life and Death Traditionscultural festival with expressions of art, music and Mexican gastronomy, which will take place from October 30 to November 3.
The guest state will be Querétaro and it will join with the participation of chefs, traditional cooks and artisans.
It also highlights the participation of Natalia Lafourcade, who on November 2 will grace the festival by offering a concert as part of his “De todas las flores” tour, which will take place at El Gran Tlachco in Xcaret Park, lasting two hours.
For five days, attendees will be able to enjoy Mexican traditions with a touch of wine tourism, characteristic of the invited entity. The cultural fusion will be integrated with tastings of the Queretaro menu and traditional cuisine. There will also be parades led by Grupo Aztlán and the student body of the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ), as well as musical presentations by Grupo Xaha, Grupo Bohemio, Trío Queretanas and Trío Gallardía Huasteca. For visitors looking to do some handicraft, painting, chocolate, embroidery, design, crafts, ceramics and crowbar workshops will be offered.
As part of the experience of this edition, an interactive hacienda will be inaugurated, a space where children and adults will learn more about the traditions that are part of the Day of the Dead, through exhibitions of photography, painting, and sculpture.

The main venue of the festival will be the Xcaret Mexico park; However, the celebration will be joined by Hotel Xcaret Arte, Hotel Xcaret México, La Casa de la Playa and the Teatro de la Ciudad de Playa del Carmen, which will be the scene of a staging.
With this festival, Grupo Xcaret seeks to exalt Mexican history and culture, while promoting one of the most important celebrations in our country and which is part of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
