Artist Brendan Murphy and collector Christopher Harding teamed up to work with Artificial intelligence, launching virtual and physical sneakers with the touch of today’s technology. This is the origin of Fast Sneaks Project.
It will initially be released as a limited edition collection of unique collectibles, created by Murphy. Artificial Intelligence helps not only design, but also to give a guarantee of authenticity regarding its origin.
Each collectible comes in an ornate, handcrafted display case, with an additional pair of limited-edition Hustle sneakers, made specifically for the purchaser’s use.
“The launch itself is revolutionary because of its unique look,” Murphy says in a conversation with Footwear News. “I have earned my living as an artist, I know collectors. I’ve also been to sneaker events and it’s full of collectors.”
“They invest a lot in sneakers that are one of 9 thousand, but in my world I don’t do anything that is not one to one,” he stressed, adding: “I tell sneaker collectors: ‘Stop paying thousands of dollars for a sneaker which is one of 9 thousand. Here you have a true work of art, and it also works as a slipper.”
Artificial Intelligence technology at the service of shoes
Fast Sneaks Project also uses FeaturePrint, an optical Artificial Intelligence technology that creates the equivalent of shoppers’ fingerprints. This identifier is unique and does not require changes to the item, allowing rapid digitization of physical objects.
“Unmatched credibility should further boost a collector’s confidence,” Murphy notes, “and could profoundly change the playing field. for billion dollar markets. In this case, it refers to the fine arts, fashion and footwear.
The first Fast Sneaks Project collection will be available from June 7 on the company portal with a cost of 2 thousand dollars.
