Although for the moment Half-life 3 It is still a dream, fans of the series have been given the task of giving new life to this franchise. In this way, not long ago it was announced Half-Life 2: Remastered Collection, a mod that remasters practically all the elements of the second title and its expansions. The best of all, is that this project has the blessing of Valve.
Half-Life 2: Remastered Collection is an improved version of Half-Life 2: Update, a fairly popular mod of the game, which has the same development team. This project even already has a registration on the site of SteamDB, which means this mod was approved and it will eventually come to this digital store, something that was corroborated by the journalist Tyler McVicker.
I have been able to confirm this projects legitimacy, being made by the former Half-Life 2: Update team.

This new version of the game includes improvements to the technical level, changes in lighting, image quality, particle effects, shadows, HDR support, various bugs fixed, and a “community comment” mode is provided, where you can learn some curiosities and facts about the game.
Without a doubt, this mod is positioned to be one of the biggest fan-made Half-Life-related projects. This will also breathe new life into one of the medium’s most acclaimed sequels, offering a new audience the opportunity to enjoy a revolutionary FPS. Unfortunately there is currently no release date for Half-Life 2: Remastered Collection.
On related topics, you’ll be glad to know that all the Half-Life music is now available on Spotify.
