Last Tuesday, June 21, we saw the launch of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout in your version free-to-play. as well as its arrival on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. It seems that the launch was a complete success, as Mediatonic says that they managed to reach the 20 million players in just 48 hours.
In mid-May Mediatonic and Epic Games announced that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, the popular Takeshi Island-inspired multiplayer where bottargas compete, was coming to all platforms as a free-to-play game this week. Back then a pre-registration with exclusive rewards was launched, with a goal of 2.5 million pre-registrations.

Before the release of Fall Guys: Free For All, Mediatonic announced that only one pre-registration goal was reached, as the number of registered players fell short of one million. At that time it was believed that the launch of Fall Guys free-to-play could be disappointing, but fortunately Mediatonic has already confirmed that this is not the case, since 20 million players is not bad at all.
The rewards that were not unlocked were going to award 3,500 Kudos if the million registrations were reached; a burger pattern with 1.5 million, a muscle man emote if they hit 2 million, and a melon head bottarga if they hit 2.5 million pre-registrations.
The success of Fall Guys free-to-play was such that the game’s servers crashed in its early days due to the huge number of players who wanted to play, but fortunately everything has been normalized and it is now possible to play Fall Guys on any platform without problems. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and the Epic Games Store.
