We have hardly had time to digest the previous race and we are already immersed in the Dutch Grand Prix, which takes place from today at the Zandvoort circuit. Will Max Verstappen sweep his home race again?
Max Verstappen could not have arrived with better feelings at his home race. The Dutch Red Bull driver swept the last Belgian Grand Prix and reaches the Netherlands with the championship practically sentenced.
But Ferrari hopes that at the circuit Zandvoort things are different. Although the Italians are aware that they can give up the championship, they want to return to their usual form and opt for everything every weekend, something that was impossible at Spa-Francorchamps.
Schedules for Friday at the F1 Dutch GP
The times for this weekend in Zandvoort, a municipality located in the province of North Holland, are slightly different from those of the rest of the European Grands Prix, which are usually scheduled a little later.
In this case, the first day begins at 12:30 in mainland Spain with the dispute of the first free practice session, with the second starting at 16:00. Of course, the duration is the usual: 60 minutes each.
In the following table you can see the schedules for Spain and some Latin American cities:

Alonso, Sainz and Pérez at the Dutch GP
The three Spanish-speaking drivers who are part of the Formula 1 grid face the Grand Prix in Zandvoort with very specific goals.
Czech Perez remains the staunchest opponent to Max Verstappen in the general classification of the championship, although the enormous distance of points between the two will make the Mexican more aware of the threat of Charles Leclerc, who is third with 5 points less.

For its part, Carlos Sainz he also wants to join the contention for the championship, as he is only 20 points behind. The man from Madrid already has 7 podiums and 1 win this year and wants to complete a more solid second half of the season than the first, in which he has made mistakes and has had quite a bit of bad luck.
Fernando Alonso he will be more modest in his pretensions, since the Alpine he has in his hands does not allow him to set himself a goal other than to get into the points. He has already achieved it 10 times this year, 9 of them consecutively, so the man from Oviedo will want to continue to increase that streak and get even closer to his teammate, Esteban Ocon.
How to follow and where to watch the Formula 1 Dutch GP
As usual, DAZN deals with broadcasting the queen category of motorsports through its platform streaming in Spain on the DAZN F1 channel (which can also be seen on Movistar). However, residents of countries whose retransmission rights have not been acquired exclusively by any national channel have the option of contracting F1TVthe platform of streaming Formula 1 official.
Regardless of all this, in Motor.es We will tell you everything that happens at the Zandvoort circuit and the rest of the events of the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship. To do this, we make our live broadcasts available to you, in which we include comments, time tables and results in real time. This is the circuit: Zandvoort
The Dutch Grand Prix will be held at the renovated Zandvoort circuit, for which Pirelli has chosen the harder compounds available: C1, C2 and C3 as hard, medium and soft respectively.
This is due to the requirement of this circuit, which has cambers of approximately 18º in curves 3 and 14. Compared to other routes, the inclination of the mythical Sopraelevata de Monza goes to 30 degrees, Indianapolis to 9 and Jeddah to 12.
Zandvoort generates significant g-forces along its 4.2 km route. Particularly noteworthy are the braking steps at turns 1 and 11, where 5g can be reached. Identical acceleration figure, in this case lateral, that is experienced in turn number 7.
As its name suggests, Zandvoort can be affected by the sand of the adjoining beaches, which is often deposited on the surface. In addition, the coastal location of the route causes the wind to change direction very often.

The calendar of the Formula 1 World Championship
The 2022 season was intended to become the longest in history hosting 23 Formula 1 Grand Prix, although after the cancellation of the Russian Grand Prix it was not yet clear if this wish would be fulfilled. In the end it will not be like that and, once again, the championship will remain in 22 events.
Regardless of that, this year’s calendar has brought back classic events that were absent during the pandemic. We talk about racing Australia, Canada, Singapore and Japan. The first was already played during the month of April and the second did the same in June. The Asians will have to wait until the fall to certify their return.

The drivers and teams of the Formula 1 World Championship
But without a doubt the great protagonists of the 2022 Formula 1 Championship, as every year, are the participants: 10 teams and 20 drivers willing to complete the longest season in history touring four continents and 21 countries.
On this year’s grid we have three world champions, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel, as well as a rookie driver: the Chinese Guanyu Zhou, who forms a couple with Valtteri Bottas at Alfa Romeo. We also see the return of Alexander Albon with Williams and Kevin Magnussen with Haas.
One more season, Spain is represented by Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz, both framed in the same team as in 2021. The Spaniard defends the colors of Alpine and is in charge of executing THE PLAN to the best of his ability, which, however, does not include fighting for the title or for victories.
On the other hand, the man from Madrid could reach that point, as Ferrari has improved even more this year and already aspires to important things with Red Bull and Mercedes as main opponents. can Carlos Sainz beat again a very fast Charles Leclerc?
