On August 30, F1 Manager 2022 went on sale, a perfect video game for all fans of these competitions to be able to manage the teams and a series of other aspects. Unfortunately, despite the fact that we are used to seeing how games receive updates or new features over time, that will not happen with this title.
Chris Groves, CM of Frontier Developments, has written a statement on Reddit in which he warns that the next update the game will receive will be the last major one that will be published. Once it is available, only minor patches will be enabled to make some specific fixes, but it will not be anything that affects the gameplay.
Regarding the latest update that will arrive soon, it is expected to include visual improvements in all vehicle models in order to further differentiate their appearances, in addition to implementing some adjustments that affected fuel use during qualifying sessions, as well as a correction in the calculations of estimated race times.
The reason this is going to be the last update is because the team prefers to focus its efforts on other projects. In this sense, he wants the next F1 Manager to reach their full potential and meet the expectations of the community, which is why the company must focus on these jobs beyond F1 Manager 2022.
Even so, Frontier Developments encourages all users to continue to leave their comments and suggestions because all of this will be taken into account in the development of future installments to make them the best they can be.
