The call for the 2023 edition was launched to the Mexican business community in February of this year and, after the nomination and documentation phases, 31 finalists from 24 companies from six states of the Republic have been selected: Mexico City, Coahuila, State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Jalisco and Nuevo León.

These finalists will be evaluated by an independent panel of judges and will compete in the five categories of the open call: In expansion, in acceleration, Developing, emerging entrepreneurship and Social impact. The winner of this last category will be the finalist whose business model is oriented towards the improvement and well-being of the community.

It should be noted that the finalists generate —together— more than 2,900 jobs and sales of more than 2,900 million pesos, in sectors and industries such as Consumer Affairs, Mobility, Professional Services, Financial Services and Technology.
The winners by category will be announced at a ceremony next October where, in addition, the National Winner will be announced, who is selected by the panel of judges through a closed call.
This recognition is given to a businessman or businesswoman who leads a highly competitive company, with more than five years in the national market and with an outstanding international presence, whom the business ecosystem recognizes for its purpose, entrepreneurial spirit, innovation focus, as well as as its creation of value and impact on society.
The National Winner will attend EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2024 to represent Mexico and contend for the title of World Entrepreneur Of The Year.
