We are still hungover from February and the adventures of Horizon Forbidden West, Dying Light 2 or Elden Ring. March will also make it very difficult for us, with Gran Turismo 7 or Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Also, at the end of the month we have the promising Ghostwire: Tokyo to put the finishing touch.
After its presentation, the work is scheduled for release on March 25 on PS5 and PC. Now, as a relief for the wait, Tango Gameworks has decided to release Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude, a free visual novel which acts in the form of a prequel. Although we can already play without problems on PlayStation consoles, in the case of PC players we will have to wait until March 8 for it to be available on the Epic Games Store.
a trip to the past
It is now fully available for PS4 and PS5, at no cost to tell us the story of KK, the detective who already knows them all in the spirit world. He will be Akito’s counterpart during the main game and the events of this visual novel take us back to six months before the events of Ghostwire: Tokyo.
KK is not alone in this adventure, as he has the help of his group of companions who are also experts in spiritualism. Takahiro Kaji, scriptwriter of the plot, puts in perspective what we can find:
“The visual novel brings a different, more relaxed atmosphere. KK is a veteran, used to the situation, working within his realm of experience, and there is good teamwork with Rinko’s group. If KK can be understood, the player could get a broader perspective and see the other side of KK’s dialogue in Ghostwire: Tokyo”
