If you are between 18 and 35 years old and your annual income is below 23,725 euros, you meet the first requirements to apply the bonus of 250 euros per month that the government is going to allocate so that young people can become emancipated and face the payment of rent. This was announced by Pedro Sánchez during the inauguration of the I Urban Forum of Spain and the III Global Forum of Local Governments held in Seville. This is all that is known for now.
Why this bonus?
This youth rental aid voucher is part of the Budget agreement and the Housing Law, which provides for regulate rents by limiting prices to large holders (Owners of more than ten homes, among other measures. The objective is to bring the age of emancipation in Spain closer to 26 years of the European average.
“What we are going to do is a public policy aimed at reducing the age of emancipation so high, so unbearably high in our country, so that young people can access decent rental housing“, explained the chief executive.

It will last two years.
Will it be exclusive of other aid?
Pedro Sánchez has declared that the most vulnerable families will be able to receive additional rent aids that will cover “up to 40%” of the monthly rent amount.
