In a few weeks the Marvel Cinematic Universe will receive a group of immortal beings that will revolutionize the previously established, the Eternals, who give a small sample of their immense power.
Through its digital channels, Marvel Studios shared a promotional with scenes that were not shown in the first Eternals trailers, where Ikaris, Thena and company demonstrate their skills in battles.
Even a boy, who would be the son of Phastos, is excited to meet Ikaris. He even compares him to someone else casting rays from his eyes and wearing a cape (possibly the little one has seen Vision in action).
Another of the moments that stand out is the capture of Thena at the hands of Kro, who could place Thanos’ cousin against the Eternals.
Eternals introduces an exciting new team of superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years.
After the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them to leave the shadows to rally against humanity’s oldest enemy, The Deviants.
The Eternals features a cast consisting of Richard Madden as Ikaris, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari. Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Kit Harrington as Black Knight, and Don Lee as Gilgamesh.
Under the direction of new Oscar winner Chloe Zhao, Eternals is scheduled to hit the big screen on November 5, 2021.
