They did so, they said, as a vindication for the high cost of living, inflation and to demand that the British government stop all new projects related to oil and natural gas.
“Is art worth more than life? More than food? More than justice? The cost of living crisis and the climate crisis are fueled by oil and gas.” the campaigners said and then added: “Thanks to soaring natural gas prices, millions of UK families will not be able to afford to heat a can of soup this winter.”

Sunflowers is a series of oil paintings by the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh.
In the series there are three similar paintings with fourteen sunflowers in a vase, two with 12 sunflowers, one with three and one with five.
Van Gogh began painting sunflowers after leaving Holland for France in search of creating an art community.
To the relief of many, the tomato in the Heinz can should not have damaged Van Gogh’s painting because the works in the London museum are behind glass.
This is explained by the National Gallery of London on its website.
