Security employees were pointed out for running a man on the street who was seeking refuge from the sun.
Soriana registered profits of about 4 thousand 973 million pesos last year.
In 2015, Soriana acquired Comercial Mexicana for more than 39 billion pesos.
In some states of Mexico the temperatures are still very high, however, some people seem not to empathize with this phenomenon, as it was recently announced on Twitter that some security employees ran a homeless man who was trying to take refuge from the sun in the vicinity from the Soriana shopping center.
Let’s remember that Soriana is a Mexican supermarket chain that has become one of the most recognized establishments in the country, as it was the supermarket chain with the second largest number of stores in Mexico among the leading companies in the industry in 2019. Out of a total of 810 380 stores operated by the organization were Soriana Híper, the format with the largest commercial space.
Its history dates back to 1968, when the brothers Francisco and Armando Martín Borque founded a small grocery store in Torreón, Coahuila. several years ago Soriana acquired Comercial Mexicana for more than 39 billion pesos.
It is clear that the supermarket brand has several competitors in the market, last year according to a ranking published, Store aurrera was positioned as the retail brand with the highest value in Mexico, Oxxo, ranked second, with a value of approximately 1,470 million dollars, less than half the brand value of Store aurrera and Soriana it ranked fifth with a brand value of $781 million.
Security employees run homeless
As already mentioned before, the security employees did not allow the person who is in a street situation to take refuge from the high temperatures that have been registered in the north of the country.
These events occurred, according to Internet users, at the Soriana Híper Vallara, which is located in Monterrey. The video was shared on social networks and caused great outrage among users, as they point to both the chain and the employees for their lack of empathy in these situations.
And it is worth noting that the employees acted violently, a behavior that people have disapproved of, who have asked for these employees to be dismissed.
Faced with this situation, the brand has not ruled on the matter. Here you can see the complaint online: https://twitter.com/ALunaSilva/status/1676637027314401284
Another similar case occurred in Chedraui, but this time, the employees chased away a group of puppies that were trying to hide from the sun outside the store. This happened in Veracruz where temperatures have reached over 40 degrees.
He post went viral on Twitter, where another user shared that unlike Chedraui, Elektra has received the puppies, who are shown lying inside the store. This happened at a Gómez Palacio branch in Durango, here the thermometer has reached 40.3 degrees.
