I had already taken out chest to carry star link to ships and now the satellite internet of Elon Musk will arrive on planes, under a different trade name: Starlink Aviationwhich already has a website.
Since last year there has been talk on pages, forums and social networks about this service, which is already a reality and will be released in 2023According to the report published on the website of BGR.
“With Starlink, passengers will be able to access high-speed, low-latency Internet from the moment they board their plane.”, reported the SpaceX Twitter account.
Musk cited that tweet and celebrated the quality of service, telling an anecdote about a video call between cell phones on different planes: “Internet on planes will feel just like accessing the Internet at home!”.
We even did a Starlink video call on one airplane aloft to Starlink on another, far away, airplane aloft and it worked perfectly with no lag!

How much will Starlink Aviation cost?
Starlink Aviation will be aimed at private aircraft for a monthly payment ranging from $12,500 to $25,000., with unlimited data plans. Before making the contract, the interested parties they must acquire the hardware, valued at 150 thousand dollars.
The hardware package includes the Aero Terminal, power supply, two wireless access points, and harnesses. Its price does not include the cost of installation on the plane.
The company doesn’t mention any partnership with commercial airlines, so the service is likely to be used at launch for those with private jets.
Starlink ensures that even with a plane traveling at hundreds of miles per hourit will be able to provide speeds of up to 350 Mbps with a latency of 20 mswhich will theoretically allow the streaming of video and video games online
This service can already be reserved and the deliveries of the first Starlink Aviaiton equipment will take place during 2023.
