After the launch of Threads, Elon has used his account to complain about the new social network, claiming that it is not fair to plot, because according to him, it is illegal for Threads, as we mentioned before, to have hired his former workers. He has even directly insulted Mark Zuckerberg.
The Verge questioned Twitter if the links were intentionally hidden, however, a clear answer was not obtained, since the businessman only sent a poop emoji in his response.
Despite the fact that the founder of Teslta is bothered by the presence of Threads in his digital environment, he cannot deny that the success it has had is indisputable, since less than a week after its launch it already exceeds 100 million users. Although still in its early stages, Meta is not intended to replace Twitter, according to Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram.
However, and despite these declarations, obviously the platform seeks to become the place where people meet to talk (the design is identical to Twitter).
While the numbers for Threads and Twitter are not directly comparable, it is interesting to look at the traffic trend on both platforms.
As of last November, Twitter had about 260 million monetizable daily active users, according to Elon Musk, owner of the social network.
However, more recent reports warn that Twitter has experienced a decrease in traffic in recent months, always according to The Verge in an article on July 10.
