El Salto Zaragoza, a place to connect with nature
To the south of the state of Nuevo León is Zaragoza, a beautiful northern town with quiet streets and a relaxed atmosphere. Surrounded by imposing mountains and natural water pools. It is approximately four and a half hours away by highway from Monterrey, whether you take the national highway towards Linares or the highway towards Saltillo.
This beautiful toll booth is surprising for being a totally natural space, since its waters come from the Blanco River and it preserves impressive waterfalls. It has around 500 hectares of forest, a lagoon and its popular waterfalls: El Salto and Velo de Novia.
The waterfall Veil It has a drop of 30 meters and it is so named because it resembles a subtle curtain of white tone, with different flows of different heights and degrees of inclination, therefore, the optical vision of a veil is formed.
Likewise, the recreational park has palapas, grills, a camping area, bathrooms and even cabins. So it is ideal to get away from the routine of the city and simply wrap yourself between mountains and waterfalls.
Plus you can fish! Well, it has a lagoon designated for fishing in trout season. You can fish up to the equivalent of one kilo and this activity costs $150 MXN.

- The entrance fee is $40 MXN per adult. Children and seniors pay $15 MXN.
- Parking costs $20 MXN.
