The major overhaul of the football simulation franchise Pro Evolution Soccer came a few weeks ago under the name of eFootball 2022 and since then Konami has only accumulated bad news. The game soon became the lowest rated game in Steam history and the memes they have flooded the networks. The Japanese company promised quick fixes, but it seems that they will take longer than anticipated. And it is that now it has been confirmed that eFootball 2022 delays the release of its first update, which was originally scheduled for next week but will still take additional time to arrive to improve the performance of the title.
“Thank you very much for playing eFootball 2022. We would like to inform all of our users that we have decided to delay the release of version 0.9.1 to beginnings of November. Us we sincerely apologize for the delay and for the inconvenience caused. Our hope is that the extra time we take will allow us to ensure that the experience will improve for our users. We will announce the date and details of the arrangements as soon as we can confirm. In the meantime, we will continue to work on improving the game and look forward to working with you on eFootball 2022. Thank you for your patience, ”explains Konami in the statement posted on its official Twitter account.
eFootball 2022 debuts as the lowest rated game in Steam history
The date previously offered by the Japanese company was the October 28 before the wave of criticism that the football video game was receiving. However, it seems like it was too hasty considering the claims Konami has with this update, which is meant to fix many of the game’s issues. Remember that it will now arrive in early November, on a date yet to be specified, and that eFootball 2022 is now available at Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and other platforms completely free.
