The consequences of war between Ukraine and Russia they are not only felt among the countries involved. The video game industry has mobilized to show its support for the Ukrainian people by making massive donations to ensure their safety.

EA Sports stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and, like so many other voices throughout the world of football, calls for peace and an end to the invasion of Ukraine.
In concert with our partners at FIFA and UEFA, EA Sports has initiated the processes to remove the Russian national team and all Russian clubs from EA Sports FIFA products including: FIFA 22, FIFA Mobile and FIFA Online. We are also evaluating changes related to other areas of our games.

Following the IIHF suspension of all Russian and Belarusian clubs and teams from their competitions, we will be removing 22 NHL teams in the coming weeks.
We support the Ukrainian people and join the voices around the world calling for peace.
A harsh measure that has been carried out by the American company that thus shows its solidarity with the Ukrainians and aligns itself with the official sports organizations. Therefore, in the coming weeks all the templates mentioned will not be available in EA Sports games.
In turn, the deputy prime minister of Ukraine has asked the industry, and more specifically Xbox and PlayStation, to cease their commercial activities on Russian and Belarusian soil. The measure is already effective with Applesince Tim Cook’s company no longer sells its products in those territories.
