Iron Man will live an original adventure in a single player experience.
Electronic Arts has issued a statement in which it has made official the development of a new Iron Man single player video game, third-person and action-adventure. The title, which began to be rumored a few weeks ago, is in early development at Montreal-based Motive Studio. The team is led by Olivier Proulxwho recently worked on another superhero game, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
Developed in collaboration with Marvel Games, the Iron Man game will feature an original narrative that taps into Iron Man’s rich history“channeling the complexity, charisma and creative genius of Tony Stark“, which will allow you to experience what it is like to live an adventure like the Avenger that recently also starred in a virtual reality game.
The future Iron Man game, which for now has not anticipated which platforms to reach´, will feature a team of video game industry veterans including Ian Frazier, Maëlenn Lumineau and JF Poirier. With the announcement of the project, we know what EA Motive Studio is working on after the release of Star Wars: Squadrons while the development of Dead Space Remake ends. However, from the statement it is anticipated that it takes a long time to see the game in motion.
Iron Man, another Avenger with his own video game
Electronic Arts has anticipated that the Iron Man project will be “the first of several new games“. Bill Roseman, vice president and creative director of Marvel Games has anticipated being delighted in the collaboration that he will bring “an original take on one of Marvel’s most important, powerful and beloved characters” in what will serve as “a love letter to a legendary hero”.
Marvel fans are happy with one more project of the huge universe started in comics. Just a few days ago, a Captain America and Black Panther game developed by Skydance New Media was announced.
