Techland it has little to have released Dying Light 2: Stay Human but they still haven’t forgotten the first game, because they just released the first dying light on next-gen consoles. Starting today, the players of Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 will be able to play the definitive version of Dying Light on consoles.
Although not much has happened since the release of Dying Light 2: Stay Human, Techland has been carrying the first dying light to the platforms on which it was not yet available, because at the end of last year it came to the Nintendo Switch and just two weeks ago it came to the Epic Games Store with cross-play on PC. Starting today, Dying Light is available on all platforms, including PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Techland clarified that Dying Light just arrived on PlayStation 5 earlier today with a next-gen update, but it’s a few days before this upgrade hits the Xbox versions. Still, the update will be free for all players and will offer visual and performance improvements.
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players will be able to choose between performance mode, with 60 FPS in Full HD resolution; Balanced mode, with 60 FPS in QHD resolution; or the high resolution mode that runs in 4K resolution but at 30 frames per second. The Xbox Series S and Xbox One version also offer performance and hi-res modes, but these run at 30FPS and Full HD or Quad HD resolution, respectively.
