Exactly two weeks left until Dying Light 2: Stay Human is finally a reality and from Techland they are making known all the news that were still pending to be known. And it is that now Dying Light 2 offers details on its different resolution and performance modes on consoles, something that concerns and interests players more, since there are those who prefer to play with the highest resolution and graphic fidelity possible, while a second group prioritizes the fluidity that gives you a higher performance in frames per second. Now we know everything we need to know about it.
In a video focused on the PlayStation 5 version of the game (which will no doubt be seamlessly ported to the Xbox Series X), via Wccftech, Techland has explained that Dying Light 2 will feature three different modes. The Quality Mode with Ray Tracing it will prioritize visual fidelity and take advantage of ray tracing technology at the cost of fps; the Resolution mode It will allow us to play at 4K to the detriment of fluidity; and the Performance mode it will focus on offering an experience at 60 frames per second at the very least. In fact, a few days ago the game’s rendering director, Tomasz Szalkowski, pointed out that on Xbox there will be no fps limiter, so Dying Light 2 could reach more than 60 frames per second in some situations.
Dying Light 2 will have about 40,000 lines of dialogue
Remember that Dying Light 2 will arrive on February 4 to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and other platforms after several delays and that it will be one of the most anticipated video games of the year. The first installment in the Techland franchise was one of the great underrated titles of the past generation and, almost a decade later, the love for this open-world zombie opus seems to have reached a climax.
