Would you like to buy a computer, a monitor, gamer products or a technology accessory at the price that you deem convenient? CSByte, a Chilean company with more than 20 years of experience in the field, decided to use this mechanism: Dutch auction.
From June 12, you will be able to participate in this mechanism, a different and fun way to buy.
How does it work?
Participating in this Dutch auction is very simple: the seller starts with a base price and gradually lowers it until someone decides to buy. So the longer you wait, the cheaper the product will be. It is important to consider that there is a strategy, because it can happen that, if you wait too long, someone else can go ahead and buy the product: the key is knowing when to hit.
CSByte will lower the value of each product between 5,000 and 10,000 pesos a day, so if no one buys, you can pay a fraction of the original price. For example, a 34-inch monitor that costs 600,000 pesos could be yours for only 200,000 pesos if no one else wants it (or less).
As Cristóbal Soto, Csbyte’s general manager, explains, “this auction leads you to pay what you are really willing to pay for a product. You can wait for it to drop to the price that suits you, but of course, always keeping in mind that another person may think the same and buy it earlier. Therein lies the dilemma.”
This is a great opportunity to get quality products at incredible prices, ranging from accessories, notebooks, and even a gaming computer. To participate you just have to enter the page: csbyte.cl/auctions and keep an eye out for offers (F5, F5, F5 mode).
