Next, review how you can collect this new amount of the Chilean benefit. The Duplicated March Bonus, also known as the Permanent Family Contribution, is financial aid provided by the Government to benefit millions of households in Chili. As recalled, in mid-March, the president gabriel boric -through a bill- reported that an extra payment for the same amount was added to the original amount corresponding to $60,000, reaching $120,000 in 2023.
It should be noted that the payment of the extra amount of the subsidy began last April, after it was approved by Congress. An important fact, since the aid favors 1.6 million households in the country. Likewise, the doubling of the final amount of the Government’s contribution aims to finance, in part, the increase in the cost of living that is increasing.
How to check if I am a beneficiary?
To find out if you can collect the doubled March Bonus this month, you must enter the website of the Social Welfare Institute, entering your RUT and date of birth. Also, if you want to review the details of this process, you can visit the official consultation website of Permanent Family Contribution.
When is the doubled March Bonus paid?
The new amount of the March Bonus has been paid since the end of March. It is important to mention that for this second payment it is not necessary to apply, since all the people who have obtained the first payment receive it automatically.
Regarding this point, the Minister of Labor, Jeannette Jara, announced that 96% of the beneficiaries will obtain the payment through the RUT Account. Meanwhile, the remaining 4% can make the payment in person at the usual place of payment of their benefits.
Who receives the Double March Bonus?
