hbo max announced that Dragon Ball Z Kai Y Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters will finally be added to its catalog in Latin America. Its premiere is scheduled for next October 10.
The HBO Max Brazil account had already anticipated since December 2021 that the anime would be added to its offer. At the beginning of the year, Luis Durán, former general manager of the platform for Latin America, reported that this title would be released in July, but the launch was postponed.

Akira Toriyama serialized dragon ball in the pages of the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump between 1984 and 1995. Toei Animation was in charge of bringing Goku’s story to the small screen between 1986 and 1996. The first series simply titled dragon ball recounted the events of the first 194 chapters of the print, while the sequel Dragon Ball Z adapted the rest of the plot of the manga.
Kai is a revamped version of Dragon Ball Z launched in the framework of its twentieth anniversary. The production of Toei Animation offers images remastered for high definition; voices and sound effects were re-recorded, plus it featured new openings, endings and soundtrack. Likewise, Kai more strictly follows the manga, removing all original content created for the anime adaptation. The series ended with a total of 167 episodes broadcast between 2009 and 2015 in Japan, and arrived in Latin America in April 2011 through Cartoon Network.
