Goku has a complex family history that is understood throughout the adventures of Dragon Ball. When we met him he was a lonely boy who lived in the depths of the countryside, on Monte Paoz. His grandfather had died and that is why he grew up alone, practically in a wild environment.
Thanks to the wonderful power that he already showed and the previous training that Gohan, his grandfather, had given him, the little boy with a tail was able to defend himself against wild creatures.
However, after meeting bulma he is never alone again. His group of friends keeps him company and together with the different teachers he had, Goku was always in someone’s company.
Similarly, to know who actually shares a family bond, it is necessary to make several time jumps. So, we are going to know how the family tree of Goku, the most important hero on Earth, is composed.
Goku’s family tree in Dragon Ball
- Grandpa Gohan: Although he is not really his grandfather, Gohan was the one who adopted him and formed the values of the person we know him today.
- Bardock: I knew nothing of its existence until the recent events of the Dragon Ball Super manga. He was a ruthless but fair Saiyan, curiously with values and did not enjoy killing people.
- Gyn: Goku’s mother was not a warrior. She was a Saiyan dedicated to the home and the upbringing of her two children.
- Raditz: His older brother, whom he met under a terrible situation because he threatened to kill his son and also tried to kill Goku.
- Milk: Goku’s wife appears in the first arcs of dragon ball and then returns to the end to make the Saiyan warrior fulfill his promise of marriage.
- gohah: the first fruit of the marriage between Goku and Chichi. He is none other than, according to Toriyama, the most powerful warrior in the series.
- goten: Appears in the Majin Buu arc, he was spawned before the battle against Cell.
- Bread: The first, and so far only, granddaughter of Goku. She is Gohan’s daughter with Videl, who in turn is Mister Satan’s daughter.
