One of the most representative forms of Vegeta in recent years has been his Ultra Ego form, a new transformation that dyes his hair, eyebrows, and eyes purple, denoting his incredible increase in power. Although we still do not see all the power that this saiyan can unleash, it is undeniable that he has won the hearts of a large part of the Dragon Ball Super fandom. In fact, the good reception that this new form has had is due to the fact that the saiyan prince is not one of the characters most loved by Akira Toriyama, the creator of this saga. This is why a new official hand image of Toyotaro with this form will always be well received.
For those who don’t know him, Toyotaro is the official artist of Dragon Ball Super and Akira Toriyama’s main assistant for the story and continuation of Dragon Ball Super. And, on more than one occasion he has shown his affection for this character, before he illustrated it with his memorable form of Majin Vegeta. On this occasion, this is official art that comes courtesy of the 18th volume of the manga that had a recent release on shelves in Japanand it was there that fans got to see Vegeta and his new godlike power.
As you can see above, Vegeta has all of his clothes torn in this image, and we’re not just talking about his uniform, but some of his accessories. Sure, his shirt is absolutely ripped, but his body looks beefy in the most extreme way possible thanks to his Ultra Ego. Vegeta is packed with muscle, and you can even see how defined his calves are despite his boots.
Dragon Ball Super: Vegeta’s opportunity with the Ultra Ego
This promotional and official image of Dragon Ball Super was shared by the DBS Hype Twitter account. Vegeta’s Ultra Ego’s signature hair color change here is more noticeable thanks to the white background it stands on. This is the first and only character in the entire Dragon Ball Super franchise to wear this color (including its prequels), and it suits Vegeta well.. After all, purple is historically associated with royalty in our world, and they don’t call Vegeta the Saiyan Prince for fun. His father before him was King Vegeta, so the fighter has some claim to the throne.
Although for now, Dragon Ball Super has turned its attention back to Goku, but fans hope that the series will pay a lot of attention to Vegeta and his Ultra Ego moving forward, even more so after his character development in the Gas arc and Granola’s. After all, Goku’s Ultra Instinct counterpart to him has become a fan favorite, and Vegeta deserves the same show of love as his deuteragonist!
